Tonight we had Chicken Strawberry Salad Wrap. This one was really good. This was another thing that I would have never made. It's a salad with meat and fruit in it and to me that's just weird. That being said....it was really good. In fact, the old man has very few things that he doesn't like. One of those things is goat cheese. I told him goat cheese was in this and I just got the face...you know the face. My response was, "We're all trying things we don't like so roll with it." He wound up enjoying it. The goat cheese really wasn't in there to provide any sort of flavor but it did create a creaminess that otherwise wouldn't have been there. All of the flavors tied in so well together and it was a pleasant surprise.
Once again, I did dice my chicken in the middle of cooking it and once again I recommend it. I don't recommend ignoring the recipe until right when it's time to make dinner and you're already running late. This is because you have to marinate the chicken in balsamic dressing for a hour. So make sure that's noted.
Otherwise, I highly recommend this one. Especially if you're looking for a filling salad for dinner.
The other folly of the day is just spending the entire day on my nails. You definitely pay for convenience when you go to the shop. It always took my girl maybe an hour and that's because I would get a lot of artwork. Now that the price of everything is going up, I've been trying to do them myself. This go around really wasn't bad for a full days work. I wouldn't pay somebody for my ability but it will definitely due to help save money.
