Today has been quite the day.
For this story, you need to know that one of our dog's is an Old English Mastiff. They can be a very slobbery dog and it's very slimy slobber. This is just something that goes with owning one of these dogs. Now, I have slipped in the slobber more times than I can count and I'm always completely sure that one day, I'm going to break my neck. Today tried to be the golden day. I apparently accidentally stepped in the slobber and then as soon as I hit the ceramic tile in the bathroom, it was game over. I slipped, my ankle twisted, my arm hit the toilet and I cracked the back of my head on the bathtub. So if anybody sees me with a couple black eyes...I do feel safe in my home. Except for maybe from the dog. This isn't even the first injury that she's caused.
But! Far too much money was spent on groceries for me to not carry on and still make dinner. It was a taco night and tacos make everything better. Maybe not this but at least I didn't have to focus on a recipe or anything complicated. So I'm going to say that's a win!
Still working on figuring all of this out. I did figure out how to include a playlist so I'm going to attach what I got to listen to while preparing dinner. So if nothing else entertains you, maybe the hodge podge of music I listen to will. I just set my music on shuffle and what comes up is what comes up. I listen to most everything so there's a little something for everybody!
